50 MB to 100 MB

Hi it might be a silly question but virgin have offered me to up grade from 50mb to 100mb cheap but is there any advantage as all i do is surf the net i dont download any films or music in fact i dont keep much on my computer it has 931 capacity and i have 869 left ?. thanks johnyjohn

I am also a virgin customer my speed test can be found here (supposed to be 90MBS)




I do a lot of downloading so for me it's useful,BUT as far as surfing and the like I think it is no better than maybe 4-10 MBS


a lot depends on the server the other end IMO and your set up 


I would see if you can try it for a month then decide.


If it wasn't for my downloads I wouldn't bother.
