Hi there,

As of now ComboFix does not support Windows 10, and it is unlikely that the author will support it since there are other tools that can be used to diagnose and remove malware infections. See here for information on what OS ComboFix supports.

If you need help with removing malware, please open a new topic in Am I Infected?. One of the first responders will assist you in cleaning the machine.

Yes...at this point ComboFix most likely never will be updated to support Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 since there are other alternatives (such as FRST, Zoek) which are being used by malware removal experts.

If you need individual assistance with a malware infection, follow Alexstrasza's instructions or follow the instructions in the Malware Removal and Log Section Preparation Guide starting at Step 6.
  • If you cannot complete a step, then skip it and continue with the next.
  • In Step 6 there are instructions for downloading and running FRST which will create two logs.
If you choose to follow the above instructions and post a FRST log, please reply back in this thread with a link to the new topic so we can closed this one. If not, at least you know doing that is an option available to you.
