Hi there!

So as the title suggests, I've been having multiple BSOD's over the past few months that appear to be getting more frequent. I'm not sure if they're related as some of the error codes are different while others are the same. Hopefully you guys can help me here.

I'm going to be posting the BlueScreenView info on each as well as providing a link to the minidump file via Mediafire.

Update your video driver.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Thanks for the replies! I always update my video drivers via Nvidia when updates are available, and have tried reinstalling them in the past, but unfortunately the BSOD's still continued.

As instructed, I've ran minitoolbox and included the log as well as the speccy snapshot which will both be below. Thanks!

When you reinstalled or updated your graphics driver did you uninstall the old driver first?

That I did. I made sure to uninstall the old drivers first before going to the manufacturer site and downloading the new ones for my particular card.

Memory

Type: DDR3

Size: 8192 MBytes

Channels #: Single

DRAM Frequency:
800.1 MHz

CAS# Latency (CL): 11 clocks

Can you try setting memory to dual channel mode in BIOS? There is also a more newer BIOS firmware version for your motherboard which could potentially fix (hardware) compatibility and stability issues.

After searching my BIOS, I was unable to locate any options to change the channel mode. Thanks for the heads up on the BIOS update, however when running the .exe file, a box pops up and says that I do not have the right version of Windows for the file.

What's the likelihood that the single channel is causing my listed BSODs?

Your motherboard has two pairs of DIMM slot, one pair is blue, the other pair is black.  Make sure that the slots are populated in slots of the same color.

Possibly on memory clock speeds although your sticks are in pair, newer boards usually are on dual/triple already such as yours.

After searching my BIOS, I was unable to locate any options to change the channel mode.

Must be a fixed bios settings or maybe the speccy report is not accurate...

however when running the .exe file, a box pops up and says that I do not have the right version of Windows for the file.

Not sure, what version did you download?

If you understand the difference between dual and single channel you will know that running in dual channel effectively doubles the speed of the throughput of the RAM.  Bad RAM modules can cause BSODs, but running in single channel shouldn't cause a BSOD.

Sorry for the late reply, been busy with some things. I encountered another BSOD today which I will post below. As for which update for my BIOS I tried to install it was the 2.A version. Very first in the list of the link you provided.

Try running memtest alternately on a single stick of RAM.

I agree.  The bug check code you posted usually relates to a problem with the RAM.

1)  Please download the Memtest86 Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO file.

2)  Unzip the downloaded memtest86 file.  You will need a program like 7-Zip to unzip this file.

3) Intructions for using the 7-Zip can be see in the video below.

4)  Inside, you will find the memtest86 file.

5)  Place a blank CD or DVD in the tray of your optical drive and close the tray.

6)  After you have downloaded the ISO image you want to burn right click on the Start orb, then choose Windows Explorer.

7)  When Explorer opens click on Downloads in the left pane.  Scroll down till you find the ISO file you want and double click on it.  Click on Burn Disk Image.

8)  In the image below you will see Disk burner:, this should be set to the optical drive you want to use.  Click on Verify disc after burning if you want to Windows to verity the disc image after burn.  Click on burn.

burndiskimage1_zpsb502b181.png

9)  In the image below you can see that the green progress bar, when the image is finished burning the bar will be filled.

burndiskimage2_zps17a9d6ff.png

10)  After the image has completed being burned click on Close

11) Once the CD is created, boot from it, and memtest will automatically start to run.

Please note:  It may be neccessary to change the boot order in the BIOS so the CD/DVD-ROM is the first device in the boot order and the hdd second.

Each pass consists of 8 tests, it is suggested that you run at least 7 passes, this will take several hours, you may find it simpler to let it run overnight.  The longer you run the passes the more comprehensive the results will be.

If you are running multiple modules and have a failure, remove all but one module and test it separately, continue this with each module till you find the one that failed.

When you discern that a module is good, use it to test each slot to be sure there isn't a problem with one of them.

When the test is complete a display similar to the one below will appear.  Note the locations of the Pass and Errors, any Error is indicative of a failed module.
