My computer freezes while browsing the internet only. The computer works fine any other time. It freezes in Chrome and firefox. I have ran Malware-byts. I run Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit.

Try removing flash player and see if that might help. Sometimes flash can cause bugs to occur and therefor cause your web browser to freeze/crash. After doing so attempt to reinstall a clean version of flash and update your computer to the most current updates it has available.

Let's try looking at these reports (run the 2nd one immediately after a freeze):

1)  Please provide this information (even though you may not be reporting BSOD's) so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

2)  Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

- John  (my website: http://www.carrona.org/ )**If you need a more detailed explanation, please ask for it. I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.<p>If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond. If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.

BlueStacks Android Service has problems.  Please uninstall the program associated with it.

Should you want to reinstall it, please wait until we're finished troubleshooting.

C: drive only has about 8% free space.  Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance.  Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

Please provide this report, it's the most likely to contain reports about the freezes:

The WER section of MSINFO32 shows a lot of problems with stacsv64.exe - a file related to your IDT PC Audio

Please uninstall the program, then download and install a fresh copy from the PC manufacturer's website to see if that helps.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen both dtsoftbus01.sys and dtscsibus.sys blamed on several occasions).

Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration):  New link (15 Aug 2012):  http://www.duplexsecure.com/downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link:  http://www.disc-tools.com/download/sptd
Manual procedure here:  http://daemonpro-help.com/en/problems_and_solutions/registry_and_sptd_problems.html

Your Intel Wireless WiFi Link Driver has been blamed in the 3 memory dumps that I looked at:
1)  Download a fresh copy of this driver from the manufacturer's website, then uninstall the current copy and install the freshly downloaded copy

2)  If the problem doesn't stop, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Now we wait to see if the BSOD's have stopped.

The Admin log file shows some possible problems with hardware.

While waiting, please run these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

My mistake about the BSOD comment - I'm a BSOD analyst, so I focus on them.

Your last BSOD was in July - I can't tell if that is related to your current problem or not.

Quite often fixing a BSOD will reveal other problems - such as black screens or freezing problems.

Have you done the hardware diagnostics that I suggested?  If so, what were the results?

There was also a malware scan, Prime95, 2 or 3 video tests, and a CPU diagnostic.

What were the results of those?

Okay, no malware(tdskiller, malwarebytes, avast) prime95 no errors, its caused high temp of 85c so i stopped it. I rarely stress my comp like that test. I ran furmark GPU temp went to 90c after 10 minutes. no errors. I don't play games. Intel stress test passed

Prime95 (the blend test) primarily stresses the RAM, but it does also stress the CPU.  The 85ºC temp is too high for the CPU

When Furmark went to 90ºC - did you shut it off, or did it stabilize there?  That temp is a bit too high also.

Right now we're looking at cooling issues - checking the RAM, CPU, and video card for cooling problems will be the next step.

Be sure that the coolers are firmly affixed, that the fans are working, that the coolers aren't clogged with dirt/dust/etc.

Maybe even try pointing a house fan (on high) into the case to see if that lessens the problems.
