So all of a sudden today while surfing, links and tabs started blinking so I immediately went to open my AVG free antivirus, but all of a sudden tons of programs started opening and was unable to do anything else than a button initiated shut down as I couldn't even get to the shutdown prompt. I restarted in safe mode but haven't done anything else in case I screw up even worse. I'm not sure which windows op version I am running.... It's the orional version, and the machine is probably 3-4 years old. What should I do? Thanks in advance for your help
