Hello,

I finally upgraded from Win7 to Win10 and much to my dismay, most of my fears are coming to fruition.

In this topic is a more general odd issue. As per the title, the start links (Documents to Videos) all come up as "Missing Shortcut".

After about a minute or so, it changes to the "Problem with Shortcut"

For Videos, I clicked the "Delete it" option and it completely removed it.

I have tied many combinations of turning on/off the links in settings and restarting to no avail.

Also, thefolder in appdata it refers to does not exist under any profile.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, I'd rather not fill up the Tiles area with these links when they could be there vice blank space.

Hey Chuck,

I also upgraded from Windows 7 to 10.

Yep, I will populate the Start menu with the tiles I wanted to just have them later not function.

Important items I managed to get repaired.

Then the automatic updates install themselves and

some didn't function again. It is like riding a Merry-go-round.

(Don't forget to grab the gold ring! lol)

Based on my experience, I would say there are "issues" and

updates are attempting to address it.

My advice would be to give Microsoft some time to fix their bugs

and issue updates before spending too much effort on it.

Best of luck.

FP
