my partner installed windows 10 I want to format my computer and install windows 7 but I don't know how please can somebody help me. many thanks

How doesn't it let you? I'll need more information. Do you get an error message? Are you able to at least boot from the installation media? What exactly is happening?

tried booting from dvd in bios it says cant find boot manager

Is that installation DVD an original, or did you create it by burning an .iso to a DVD?

In your BIOS, do you have Legacy/CMS boot enabled, or UEFI? Also, is Secure Boot Enabled or Disabled?
