Never ever had so many problems!

I tried to (re)install 7 and the whole lot crashed almost at the end. As the computer didn't react anymore I changed the original HD, which was working perfect before, onto another one and started the whole procedure again. Now all went well only............ 7 isn't recognizing my router anymore: "error 651 (the modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error"

I'm now stuck again. I'm making this post via the second desktop (7) which has been connected to the same router.

I figuered out that I don't find the "Realtec PCIe Family Controller" in the network adaptors. Can that be the reason?

You need the drivers to get things cooking!

I got an answer in another forum to install the "Realtec PCIe Family Controller" in the network adapters through a stick from the other desktop and that worked!!! I only don't understand why Microsoft's software doesn't install automaticaly this or another driver!

The screen picture right underneath isn't showing the red cross anymore and the "Realtec PCIe Family Controller" I found now in the network adapters.

Although I'm almost "done" I don't know how to connect this one as I'm a dummy first class.
I just noticed that Windows can update automatically!
YES! I all of a sudden noticed that somewhere "working offline" was checked! Thanks!
