Just a quick question, if you totally restore your PC to its factory settings and want to install the Windows XP Services packs do you have to intstall both 1 and 2 or will service pack 2 include everything from service pack 1?

Just SP2 - it is cumulative, but there are many more updates since SP2 that need to be installed as well.

Just run Windows or Microsoft Update and it will show you what you need.
