Hey Guys,

I seems to be having this Nvidia 347.88 kernel error and kept flashing my screen till it hangs. (a sample snapshot of the error as attached)

I got desperate and search for a solution and did this.

a. Power management mode - Prefer maximum performance
b. Vertical sync- Off
c. Threaded optimization - off
d. Triple buffering - off
Please set to these settings and click on apply.

It has been 10 min since and so far it is working ok. However, i thought i would send a help request here as i did before and you guys helped me out a bunch. Thank you very much.

I just want to make sure that the issue had been resolved or maybe what should be the right thing to do.

Thanks a bunch bleeping computer.com

This is what's known as a STOP 0x117 error.  It's a BSOD without the BSOD screen (because it recovered).  Should it not recover, then you'll get a true BSOD with a STOP 0x116 error.

For starters, try this:  Please follow these troubleshooting suggestions:  http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-kernel-dump-analysis-debugging-information/35-video-tdr-timeout-0x116-0x117.html#post29532
Also, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

If that doesn't help, then please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
