I am trying to get Windows Defender to work with windows 8.1.  Still in the process of making sure any other antivirus / antimalware software is completely gone, but I came across this red flag in the mean time.

When I click on the brick wall icon pinned on my taskbar*, I get what looks like a normal screen ( if someone can help me create a better screenshot to post here I will, I got "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." when I tried, another red flag to me.)   Everything is in red and says that my Windows Defender is off, I should turn it on.  HOWEVER, the button at the bottom of the screen doesn't say Start Now, it says Start No.  I have to doubt that Microsoft would make such a glaring error.

I have run a couple of virus checks and nothing shows up, I haven't pushed the Start No button.  any help with this or with getting Defender back up would be appreciated, thank you.

* ETA:  I'm using classic shell with windows 8.1, which is why I have a taskbar at all.
