this is just one of the errors i,m getting with my computer i just downgraded to windows 7.
 
i just used my hp operating system disks it was the only way i could downgrade for some crazy reason an it runs great i,m very happy 10 was just crazy i never had so many computer problems in my life. my only problem i,m having with 7 is my windows updates is not working to well it just keeps scanning an checking with no end in sight. any suggestions would be great.one of the errors i,m getting is 0x80070005.
 
any help would be GREAT TY IN ADVANCE.

Have you scanned for viruses and spyware or tried to clean your registry.  Those are some things you can try if you are worried.  I also have an hp and noticed that it gets hung up on searching for updates if Windows has all of the updates.  Hope that helps

The suggestion to "clean the registry" is NOT good advice, IMO.

Windows update will not start for me in the services an will not load i just done a system recovery an i need to do all my windows security updates. any help pleaseeeeee  would be great tyvm. for your time in advanced. i.ve tried microsoft fix it that did not work i tried troubleashooting from control panel an that did not work either so all the troubleshooting i did was at no avail. :hysterical:

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.
 
Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
  List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
 
Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Ok now it,s actually opening i have 149 important updates an 69 optional one but it frezzes wont let me click on them and hit install it,s just stuck i checked for malware none was found i tried microsoft fix it to no avail.
 
But i do notice that in my services i try to start windows update an it wont start. just kinda letting you know what i have tried.

This is something that would take a while but you can try checking a few of the updates at a time and selecting the okay button.  This shouldn't matter but you never know.

Ok got another error code 0x8007000D still not working but i ran tweaking windows repair an this is the log file it came up with.

I have tried everthing i know an i haft to say i,m stuck on this one i just went back to windows 7 yesterday an it.s running great i just cannot get my windows updates to work i  know i probley have hundreds that i need to get downloaded right away i dont like even being online right now without getting those updates done PLZZZZZZZZZ  ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATTT.
