I have many photos on my SD card and wish to choose just one or a few to put in my DropBox or Google Drive folder on my tablet but when I connect up it starts to transfer all the photos on the card.

How to do just one or a few which I choose? Thanks for advice.

What make and model of device? What app do you view your SDCard images with? What exactly do you mean when you say 'connect up'?

Open the photo in question, by file manager or photo app. and a long click on the photo should give you the option to send be email or Google drive etc.
When I do this, it sends the photo in question to G.Drive.
Hope this helps.

Just noticed, that if I open my Google Drive app.,there is a red button on the bottom of the screen on the rhs.
Clicking the red button then opens a screen where you can pick the PIC(s) you require to upload..
