This will proboly seem liek a stupid question to some of you computer geniuses, lol.
But, i would like to try to expirement with some registy tweaks, so, how to a create a backup for my registry that i can fall back on if i screw something up, and please explain this the best you can, thc in advance.

it says if you dont see it, install backup from your XP disk, what exactly do i install off the disk
is there some program that would create a backup that i can get?

If you have XP PRO, it's already installed. Locate "Ntbackup.exe" in the system32 folder.
If you have XP Home, insert the cd and navigate to ValueAdd>Msft>Ntbackup>Ntbackup.msi.
Double click "Ntbackup.msi" to install.
For OEM systems that have neither, you can use a freebie like Erunt. Read the FAQ's first.

Before you try the twqeaks you might want to try this for backing up the registry it is called ERUNT
