I'm with you!! My update is still on hold...I've yet to back up everything before diving into this next update!

 

May both of us get someone here, who has been brave enough to update!

Teach me ~ do you always do a back up of your iPhone before the iOS updates?  I'm always afraid that I'll lose my contact list and my calendar..for without I'm a blank slate!

I don't own an iPhone still have the old sim card type which is annoying the hell out of my mobile service provider as I am not making them any money. They have been trying to get rid of me for ages or get me to upgrade, so far they have been unsuccessful.... :wink:

 

I upgraded my iPad to OS 8.4.1 without any problems and no I didn't do a backup prior to the update.

I updated my old iPod Touch 5 and my iPhone 6 successfully. But I always update all my apps, and then I make the iCloud backup manually before updating.
