Sorry but couldn't resist that title as we are get regular "load shedding" down here in the RSA, which really has thrown us back into the 'Dark Continent' of a couple of centuries ago.
Unfortunately regular "shedding" in large parts of the country has led to significant job losses in a population where the unemployment rate is amoungst the highest in the world and is likely to result in a further increase in crime and social discontent.
As a prospective investor in a country which desperately needs new investment would you consider doing so in a country where the electricity supply is uncertain (and is likely to remain so for many years) and where labour unrest, strikes and the attendant violence is an almost daily occurance?
Anyway, apart from that it's a beautiful country with wonderful tourist attractions, so don't be put off from coming here by a grouchy old guy who has seen better days!
Looking forward to learning a LOT from the fundies on this site.
Kwa Zulu Natal.
