Hi i have a lenovo g40-45 laptop running windows 10 and i really want to play games on here but everything runs horribly. I am thinking about buying and upgrading the ram on this laptop and was wondering if anyone can help me with how much ram would be sufficient enough to play games on a decent level. if any info about optimizing   windows 10 and upgrading the ram would be greatly appreciated. also if i should keep the lenovo package programs that originally came with this laptop.

thank you

8 GB should be decent. Also, keep your graphics drivers up to date.

Hi aarincon040 :)

There's a few Lenovo programs I would keep on your laptop, since some of them enable special features like the hotkeys, battery management, software/driver update for your laptop, etc. so they are worth keeping. As for "optimizing" Windows 10, in what sense are you asking that?
