SDFix was a specialized fixed tool created many years ago for Windows XP and Windows 2000. It is no longer being offered for download at BC (or other security forums I am aware of) since the tool is no longer supported and may not work properly on newer operating systems. The developer stopped all work/improvements on his tool some time ago and SDFix has not been updated to include new malware variants since November 6, 2008.

If you need individual assistance with malware infection, you should start a new topic in the Am I infected? What do I do? forum

OR follow the instructions provided in the Malware Removal and Log Section Preparation Guide starting at Step 6.
  • If you cannot complete a step, then skip it and continue with the next.
  • In Step 6 there are instructions for downloading and running FRST which will create two logs.
If you choose to post a log in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum {NOT here) for assistance by the Malware Response Team...after doing that, please reply back in this thread with a link to the new topic so we can closed this one.

Yeah, I noticed that it only said XP and 2000. Didn't realize bleepingcomputer went back to 2004.

After the trojan rootkit thing stole $600 from my bank account I ran TDSSKiller and I'll just assume it's gone and not actually reformat and reinstlall. Thanks.
