Hi

I have read some of the threads dealing with Wanscam set up but have not found anything that I could easily use. That is because I am what I guess you would call a senior citizen and my IT skills are a bit limited.

I need to set up a Wanscam IP camera to keep an eye on an elderly relative. The software that comes with the camera is pretty inadequate. I have managed to set it up so that I can view and control the camera on my iPhone but only while I am connected to the wireless network. As soon as I go to my own home I lose the connection and can't see anything.

I have spent a couple of days trying to work through the principles of creating a static address and port forwarding but I must be doing something wrong. Can any kind person out there help please?

Many thanks
Johnny

PS sorry about spelling error of brand name in title
