Hi

 

Since Updating to Win 10 I have been crashing either while browsong or gaming almos daily basis. Other strange behaviour is CPU load goes to 100% when i Alt tab out of game to home screen from steam.

Also the video driver has stopped working for a bit, screen goes balck, then recovers. here is my PC

by the way here is minitoolbox info. please help had another big crash where I had to turn off for 15 secs power supply to get pc to turn on again.

When was the last time you updated your Malwarebytes ?

Hi Norseman. I actually updated it today. First try it shut down. Then it updated dabase ok after reopened the program

This sounds like a pretty open and shut case of video card drive incompatitiblity. But I would check a couple things first.

 

Make sure you have all of your drivers installed correctly under the device manager. There's one that's super important called the SMBus driver that manages power, which could also be another source of the problem.

 

Then make sure your PC can breathe. Vents need free flow, dust needs to be cleaned out, etc.

 

but More than likely, windows 10 is not ready for you. You'll probably need to switch back to windows 8.1 http://www.mynewitguys.com/general/should-i-upgrade-to-windows-10-yet/
