Hi,

My Windows 7 laptop (3,5 yo) has very slow booting time. After that, a message popped up in my screen:

Failed to connect to a windows service.

Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Service service. This problem prevent standard users from logging on to the system. As an administrative user, you can review the System Event Log for details about why the service didn't respond.

And my laptop become very slow

What I've done:

1. Run Malware cleaner. Result : OK

2. Run Tune Up Utilities. Result : OK . Any problems I've fixed it up but the error message still pop up on the next boot.

3. Check the "service.msc". Result: System Event Notification run by automatic.

Thank you for your help.

Let's try looking at these reports:

1)  Please provide this information (even though you may not be reporting BSOD's) so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

2)  Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504

It appears that you have Avast, Avira, Baidu, Emsisoft, and MalwareBytes running on the system.

Please uninstall all (including any that I may have missed), then download and install a copy of MalwareBytes (more on this later).  Do not have more than 1 antivirus or 1 firewall working in memory at a time.

Uninstall PCFaster also.

Install MalwareBytes - uncheck the box that opts in for the trial of the Pro version (that's the version that runs in memory).

Then update it and perform a full system scan.  Let us know the results of the scan.

While waiting for a reply, please install 1 antivirus.  It's safe to leave MalwareBytes as it's not running in memory.

If the MalwareBytes scan finds a bunch of stuff - Please post over in the Am I Infected? What Should I Do? forum located here:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/

There are missing drivers for a Bluetooth device on the system.  Please install them.

Many problems with Windows Update - are you still having them.

Please check to be sure.

Many problems with FBAgent.exe - it likely belongs to one of these programs.  Please uninstall it immediately.

The process known as ASUS FastBoot belongs to software AFBAgent or Fast Boot or TotalRecovery (version 10 Pro, 9 Pro) or ASUS Fast Boot or DriveClone (version 9) by ASUSTeK Computer (www.asus.com) or Farstone Technology (www.farstone.com).
