I've recently upgraded to windows 10. It was a total disaster for me and I could not get on line after it was all said and done. I couldn't roll back to windows 7 either so wound up formatting my hard drive and reinstalled Windows 7

Since then if I leave my desktop for a few minutes it goes to sleep leaving just the windows logo on the screen. I can move and see my mouse but no matter what I do it won't wake up. I have it set to "not" go to sleep. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

  • Click on Start > Run > Type "devmgmt.msc".
  • Scroll to the Mouse section and select your device.
  • Right-Click > Properties > Power Management tab.
  • Check "Allow this device to wake the computer".
