I've been having occasional BSOD for about a year now. It has gotten worse in the past week or two, to the point where the computer will get a BSOD before reaching the desktop sometimes. I don't do any gaming, mostly just browsing the web and work related things (excel etc..). My computer won't stay on long enough for me to complete SysnativeFileCollectionApp. I ran it twice, zipped teh folder, and attached what it could fix. I've tried updating the all the drivers, even used a less recent display driver The computer will even BSOD in safe mode.  In the perfmon report it says the audio drivers needed updating, I updated those and am still getting BSOD.

Any help would be greatly appreciate!

I'm suspecting an AMD device - maybe an ATI video card?

Also, lot's of video errors in the WER section of MSINFO32

You have a NETGEAR WNDA3100v2 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter:

I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later systems - using older drivers with them is almost certain to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have the latest Win7/8/8.1 drivers - DO NOT use older drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

Memory dumps also point at hardware.  Please start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Start with the video tests, as that's what I suspect is the problem.

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center.  This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

NOTE:  these symptoms were from the previous release of OverDrive.  The new release uses the same driver name, but is dated from 4 November 2013.

Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from http://www.amd.com (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLYhttp://www.sysnative.com/forums/showthread.php/668-ATI-video-cards-DRIVER-ONLY-installation-procedure

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install".  Reboot for changes to take affect.

Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's.  If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Thank you for your reply Usasma.

I removed the AMD graphics drivers via "Uninstall a program" in Control Panel. I then installed the latest drivers from the AMD website as directed in your post. I then ran the FurMark twice. Each time it had BSOD about 10 minutes in. One was "System service exception" 0x0000003B. The other one referenced amdkmdag and had error code 0x000000d1.  I also updated the Realtek Ethernet drivers in between the two FurMark test.

On the bright side, I have left my computer on now for over an hour without a BSOD, I will try to run the FurMark again and see what happens.

I wanted to have dual monitors with this computer and with all these problems I figured now would be a good time to do so. I purchased a new monitor, graphics card (XFX Radeon HD 5450) for dual monitor capabilities, and Startech PCI wireless N Adapter. I just ordered them today.

So I was hoping to get your opinion on what I should do when the new components come in. Should I completely uninstall the USB adapter drivers and the old graphics drivers? Do you think this may solve the issues of the BSOD related to the graphics card?

Thank you again for your support and I will continue any further diagnostics that you see fit.

If you're not having BSOD's (unless using FurMark) then the system is stable - for now.
We'd have to determine why the system BSOD's in FurMark (have you monitored the temps just before it crashes?).

Beyond that, adding new hardware to a malfunctioning system will just make it harder to diagnose problems.

OTOH - sometimes new hardware will replace the problem and the system will work fine.

This is your call.

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply again.

The FurMark wasn't registering the temperature, it stayed at 0 degrees Celsius with a min/max as 0 degrees Celsius. I could try again if you know how to fix this problem? I tried googling it but coudn't find much.

Sadly another BSOD happended about 2 or 3 hours into the PC being on. I was listening to music and received another  0x000000d1 in reference to usbport.sys.

The only thing I had plugged into the USB port was the wireless adapter. This will be replaced once I receive the new  PCI one in the mail.  I can post the most recent logs when I get home from work if you would like to take a look?

Also when I receive the new hardware do I need to worry about the current video card drivers? Should I uninstall them or leave them and install the latest drivers for the new GPU?

Thank you for all of your help and expertise!

Monitor your system's temperatures with this free tool:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
It's possible that the GPU doesn't have a sensor to monitor temps - if so, you'll have to figure out a way to test (if you're interested).

I use an IR thermometer at work, but the fingers are well suited to telling if something is too hot (just be careful not to touch it - only go near enough to feel the heat).

BE CAREFUL doing this - I got 2nd degree burns from it!!!

I suggest, when replacing hardware, that you:

- uninstall the software for the hardware that you're removing

- then shut down and physically remove the hardware

- then boot up and follow the instructions for installing the hardware and it's software.

Please note in the above posts that there are several other USB drivers listed - to include:

- ctxusbm.sys - Citrix ICA Client USB Monitor Driver - http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=ctxusbm.sys

- VBoxUSBMon.sys - VirtualBox USB driver - http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=VBoxUSBMon.sys

- usbfilter.sys - AMD USB Filter Driver (likely part of the chipset drivers) - http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=usbfilter.sys

Please zip up the contents of the C:\Windows\Minidump directory and upload it with your next post.

If you have trouble zipping it, copy it to your Desktop and zip it up from there.
