Hello, the mouse itself works perfectly fine on Windows 10 but software provided by Roccat is quite old and doesn't work properly anymore. Is there some kind of alternative software that can be used with this mouse?

If the mouse is working well then it must be using software that is compatible with both the mouse and the operating system - Microsoft default?

[if it isn't broken, don't try to fix it] If there are features that you need and are not present with the current software check the vendor's site to see if they are offering an updated driver set

It is broken. Roccat's software doesn't switch profiles correctly anymore, even after messing with compatibility modes. This happened after switching to Windows 10 (clean install) and the link you provided is about that outdated software I was talking about.
