good morning to all,

i have been told that i can run windows programs under linux and please i wish to know some more things

can i do this with certain linux distros like puppy linux slacko 5.3 or netrunner linux x64 or 32 bits

basically i am interested to know if i can run the follows programs under linux

adobe audition - audio editor
sony acid pro 6 - loop based music production
sony vegas pro 8 - video editor

all are x32 bits

i am still running puppy linux slacko 5.3 from a live cd on my fujitsu esprimo p5720 desktop for my everyday internet !

i am not quite sure to tell why i want to run windows programs under linux

The short answer to this question is no. Windows EXE's do not run on Linux.

Now having said that, You may get lucky running them under Wine, but don't count on it. Depending on the PC specs, Running Windows in virtual machine is also an option.

Try these.

Sony ACID Pro Alternatives and Similar Software ...
