The key is listed on the Web as illegal...I suggest you contact Microsoft and/or Asus, if the illegal key was not used post the original install.

Click on the Start orb rsz_1rsz_1rsz_start_orb_zpshjewtibd.png, then type cmd in the Search programs and files field.

cmd will appear above the search box, right click on it and select Run as administrator.

This will open the Elevated Command Prompt.  Copy and paste the following commands in the Command Prompt.

1.  net stop sppsvc  (You may be asked if you are sure, select yes)

Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.

2.  cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

3.  rename tokens.dat tokens.bar

4.  cd %windir%\system32

5.  net start sppsvc

6.  slui.exe

After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.

Run MGADiag again, and post the report

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Thanks guys! I followed dc3 steps, but ended up with an error message:

Windows Activation

An error has occurred

You can also contact ASUSTek Computer Inc. by phone to help to resolve this problem.

I think I have to call them later.

Ben
