After few hours of using Chrome, it suddenly doesn't respond for a long time.

The only way right now is to restart my laptop... (I did try to reinstall it)

Please help me fix this problem!

Thank you.

Have you recently installed some addons that could have compromised the browser stability? The first thing I'd try to do is to disable every addons enabled on your browser to ensure this's not the problem. Try to check against the used amount of RAM when the issue shows up with the task manager.

Yeah, disable plugins and extensions.

If it is still not fixed, then update chrome by clicking the three lines button, and go to About Google Chrome

If Chrome is still slow, then run the Chrome Cleanup Tool (if you run it, then it will check for suspicious programs, and after it is done, it will ask you to clear browser data) and do a scan for malware.

If there is no malware, and Chrome Cleanup Tool did not find any suspicious programs, then download Chrome again (If you have 64 bit computer, download the 64bit Chrome as it is more stable and faster)

If it is still slow, use Chrome Cleanup Tool and let it finish, and it will ask you to reset Chrome, let it reset, and then type chrome://settings

Scroll down into People, add a new profile in it, and delete your previous profile.

I had 3 add-ons: google docs, google sheet,  and google slides.

I disabled all of them, so I will see how Chrome performs now.

Thank you.

Go to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

Delete:

Cookies and other site and plugin data

Cached images and files

Also, open Start Menu

Type System

Click System Control Panel

If under System type, it says 64-bit Operating System, then download the x64 version of chrome here

Also, do you have any anti-exploit, or exploit shield for your antivirus?

If so, try disabling it and test if chrome crashes or not

I've done everything I've asked except for the last part (anti-exploit)

I have McAFee and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. I know there's separate Malwarebytes software for anti-exploit, but I am not sure about McAFee.

Try this:

Go to chrome://settings

Then scroll down, and click Advanced Settings

Under System, uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Close chrome and open it up again, and test if it crashes or not

Also, do a full malware scan with McAFee, and then with Malwarebytes to see if malware is messing it up.

It still crashes.

When chrome crashes, I have to wait about 15 minutes to get back on, only to find Chrome crash again.

Turn hardware acceleration back on

Go to chrome://settings

Scroll down and click advanced settings

Under privacy, turn on "Automatically send usage statistics and crash reports to Google"

Do normal browsing, and wait for it to crash

When chrome crashes, then relaunch chrome

Go to chrome://crashes and it will give you the id of the crash

Now, go to this website, and follow the suggestions

If all else fails,

Then, go to chrome://chrome

Click "Report an issue"

Explain what you usually do, and that chrome crashes a lot, and also send them the crash id in chrome://crashes

Send them your email so the Google team can respond back with suggestions

Some flags can cause crashes

Go to chrome://gpu

Scroll down to version information

Copy the Command Line Args and paste them here

You have no flags. Can you post the crash ID here when Chrome crashes?
