I have a Toshiba L70-B-119 laptop. Somehow the operation of the function keys have reversed, originally special functions such as "mute and screen brightness"did not require the "fn" key to be depressed, whilst functions F1-12 required "fn" to be pressed when selecting. Now it is reversed.

Special functions are shown in white lettering and F1-12 in grey.

Does anyone know how I might restore this to original setting.

Apologies if this is in wrong forum.

The user manual might be the best bet to find out how to enable, disable the function row.   The settings most likely are in the BIOS setup.
