Hey,

so with all the games that have been recently announced I'm somewhat feeling a bit insecure about my rig that has served me well through the years.

  • i7 4770
  • GTX 770 (Palit)
  • 8gb RAM
  • Gigabyte H81M-S2PV Mobo
  • Vanguard case (for size wise)

What would probably be the next thing that could be upgraded and if so - what?

Cheers!

If I was to upgrade anything on that build it would be a gpu. What is your budget and uses for this build?

I see nothing wrong with that GPU. If you really need a newer one get a 900 series.

I don't really have a budget, as long as it doesn't peak into the high end hundreds then its fine. Mainly gaming and video rendering.

I don't really see much need in upgrading that PC.  The only thing I can think of is going to a GTX 980/GTX 980 Ti due to the performance gains, which are about 20% to 30% depending on the game, and better tessellation performance over Kepler cards.

Unless you are a hard core gamer, the 770 is just right.
