Yesterday morning I went to ebay with no problems, later in the afternoon I went back and an ad bar popped up at the bottom of the screen said powered by Offers4u.

I had not installed any programs, so I dont know where it came from.

In add remove programs there was a program listed I had not seen before and a folder ssavaenshAre  I removed them but the bar was still in my browser.

I found this site after a search on google, answered by nasdaq that said to download adwcleaner and junkware removal tool. I ran these and deleted all they found, and rebooted when required. But the bar is still in my browser :(

Any help with this problem?

Thank you

Some apps piggy back and install items like add ons and toolbars.. When installing don't use the "recommended " but rather the "custom" install and there you can see and uncheck the bundled ware.
