Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my laptop that seems pretty strange, I can be using my laptop or running a virus scan, and then all of a sudden my whole screen turns grey.

But my computer isn't frozen, I can move my mouse on the screen, and even press alt ctrl del, but the screen is absolutely blank.

If I spam the ESC key, the grey overlay goes away, its a bit annoying, any ideas on the source?

Maybe a power option or Advanced power option settings, just guessing at this point. Have you tried checking? Is it also happening in safemode? Posting the laptop model would help next time.
