First off, I don’t know which forum to put this in, pls bear with me. I am currently customizing my Win10 upgrade, and that is why I placed this query in the Win 10 Forum.

My question;

I like to customize my Favorites … Folders before single URLs, and not have things necessarily in alphabetical order. So,,, is there a way to Export your Favorites to a file, so that when said file is Imported to another PCs browser, the Favorites retain the customized order?

I hope this question makes sense, and any wisdom, insight, or outright solution welcomed. Thanx.

Firefox is my primary browser and quite a few times I've exported the bookmarks to an html file and a flash drive prior to reformatting or a new OS install.  When I import them back into the new install they appear in the same order they were in previously.  I also have some folders first and then some single links.  What browser are you using?

Microsoft Edge.

After the upgrade, when I launched Edge it offered to Import my Favorites from IE11 to Edge. It did so and the Import was in alphabetical order.

I've only opened Edge a few times so I don't have much experience with it, and I seldom used IE so I never had any bookmarks installed.  Can't help ya with this one Elf.
