Sending Message In Outlook Express To Multiple Addresses

I have created a message in Outlook Express and addressed it to a number of different addresses, separating them by semi-colons. When I hit send the Address Book pops up and wants me to individually verify addresses, or says that an address is not in the book. Is there a way around this?
