So about an hour ago, I was playing Minecraft with my little brother, when all of a sudden the laptop started lagging and Minecraft closed out, my desktop was filled with all these pictures of 'Pepes' (internet meme) which I downloaded a few months ago, there's about 1400 pictures in this folder. A few months ago I think I accidentally opened the folder and pasted all the images on the desktop, took ages to delete them all, but every once in a while they kept reappearing and I had to delete them again. Anyway, today it happened again and the PC was really slow, I tried to delete some images but it wouldn't let me because they were open in 'Com Surrogate' I wasn't sure what this was so I restarted my pc. When I restarted it, the desktop was normal for like 5 seconds, then all the pics came back and the PC was REALLY slow.

I looked into Com Surrogate and I found out it's some sort of virus, I couldn't find anything else about it like how I got it, or what sort of virus it was. Also I just got my laptop back from getting screen fix so could something of happened while it was gone?

So so my questions are how do I delete it? How did I get it? Is the virus incredibly malicious? (Like a RAT etc.)

All help will be appreciated.
