My wireless keeps dropping, and after it does no networks appear. I've turned off the adapter settings option to allow the computer to turn off the adapter.
These event messages keep appearing in the event log prior to the occurence of the issue:
The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service was successfully sent a stop control.
The reason specified was: 0x40030011 [Operating System: Network Connectivity (Planned)]
The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service entered the stopped state.
Name resolution for the name something.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
I've read online that a soultion to this issue was to edit a registry string?
"Editing the registry to disable SIPS (System IdlePowerSaver) via Intel software or registry (search for SipsEnable)"
But I don't have that string in my registry. . .
I can't find it via CTRL + F
I tried to locate it in these areas manually:
And I thought about adding the string manually, but IDK how to do that. :D
All help is appreciated. TY.
