Right now I have a Samsung 850 pro 512gb SSD.  It runs my OS and running programs.

All files/storage is on a separate HDD.

I see that newegg has a mobile exclusive sale today for the same SSD.

Im thinking of getting a 2nd one and want to run it in RAID 0.

Why?  Speed.

But...  I have heard RAID 0 with SSD slows down your computer start-up time and shut down time?  Is this true?

Yes my PC is fast.  But for the small $$ will a 2nd SSD in RAID 0 give me a lil extra "ummff" in speed.

Looking for more speed when opening, closing, running programs and starting up windows and shuting down windows.

Yes I understand a 2nd SSD in RAID 0 doubles my odds of failure.  I understand and accept.

The sale end today.  So please respond.
