Our brand new computer was compromised yesterday, since then, a new app appeared called "online Support".  We checked with Microsoft and it is not supposed to be there. Waited 3 hours on hold for them to transfer us for assistance and had to hang up. When we tried to uninstall the program it just comes right back with another number.  Ex. online support(2), online support(3), online support (4). just keeps returning each time! When we click on the APP it displays a message that reads (problem with shortcut, lmi_rescue.exe) then asks if you want to delete the shortcut, and you click yes, it increases the number. Can anyone help to get rid of this?

Do you have a screenshot of what you are seeing? Can you submit a file of the online support file to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/submit-malware.php?channel=3
