Yes....i must admit I have not seen that until now....i was vaguely aware of it in 7, but never used it.

 

That will definitely have a place in guiding people to alter/find various settings in their new Windows X.

The GodMode folder "trick" is really, really old. It's nothing new that came out with Windows 10.

This not a "trick"...it is a tweak.......which may help those less fortunate to carry out a few tasks that otherwise they would find 'undoable' or beyond them.

 

as per our mission statement...

 

"Bleeping Computer is a community devoted to providing free original content, consisting of computer help and tutorials, in such a way that the beginning computer user can understand..

 

it is interesting that Microsoft have chosen to include it in Win X
