For some reason I noticed lately if I download a program it will ask for the adminastrator password but It will not give a block to type one in. If I try to make an adjustment to the uac, again it ask for the adminastrator password. I even went into the regerstry to make a change but it was not allowed. I have yet to find a answer on the internet or any one else having the same issue. Installing a virus program is not possiable. Any one have any suggestions?

If you are using an administrator account and this is happening your account could be corrupted.

Try creating another administrator account, use it and see if the problem discontinues.

Is you account password protected?

If it is we can try removing the password.

To remove the Windows log-in password click or tap on Search, then type cmd in the  search box under Apps.

Command Prompt will appear under Apps., right click on it and choose Run as administrator at the bottom of the page.

After the Elevated Commad Prompt opens type in netplwiz and press Enter.

User Accounts will open, you will need to remove the check from Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer

Click on OK.

Another window will open requesting that you enter your user name and password, do this, then click on OK.  This will remove your password.

Sorry taking so long to respond, I live in Ky. and work 2nd shift so I am limited with computer time. I tried the above directions but when I hit run as administrator that's where my problem starts, again it will ask me for the administrator password with no where to type one in.

It looks like you Administrator user account has become corrupted.  This happens.

Go to this Microsoft Support website and follow the instructions there to transfer your personal settings to your new administrator user account.

Once you have done this delete the original administrator  user account.
