So I recently installed windows 10 and have suddenly been stricken with Bing.vc popping up as my start page in Chrome, it's not spread go Edge and I'm not using any other browsers.

I tried most of the usual removal tools

Malwarebytes

Adwcleaner

Junkware

Combofix

Eset Nod32

Spybot S&D 2

Still not found the little bugger, tried to reset Chrome, even did a reinstall of windows 10 (although did not pick the option to reformat all drives, there are 2 partitions, have attached pic of the too.) and still it keeps coming back.

I'm thinking perhaps one of the partitions is infected as the reinstall of windows did not work....or somehow it's the Os, but that seems unlikely given that I used the official upgrade...but again it is microsoft.

So some help please guys, this ones got me beat.

Go to this page.
http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-bing-vc/

Do the recommended fix suggested in Step 3.

STEP 3: Clean up the various Windows shortcuts that have been hijacked by Bing.vc virus

Any luck?
