I have a Windows XP Home Edition SP2 OS on a Gateway Pentium 4 machine. I have McAfee VirusScan and Lavasoft Adaware Personal Edition 6. Recently my computer has been slowing down and when I close Internet Explorer browsers, the screen stays open and active but shows as "About Blank".
