Oh. Well is it just picking out old drivers now then or something? I've never been perfectly clear on what is considered a "violation" exactly.

Anyway I've not experienced BSODs during normal use for a while now. Should I just assume that problem was fixed?

Ugh, scratch that, got a BSOD. Guess I should start poking at other things like the RAM, CPU, voltages, hard drive,  PSU, etc. I'll be back here when I stop procrastinating and get to testing... basically everything in this cursed machine.

Just ignore this post. I thought at first that I found the cause of that previous BSOD but I don't think I did. I really need to just leave this thread alone.

Anyway. Posting yet again to let you know that I'm pretty sure it was a bad memory module. I guess I can't say with 100% certainty that it's the exclusive cause of the problems, seeing as it took days sometimes for a BSOD to occur. But it seems pretty clear that if there was a bad module this whole time, that would most likely be the cause of random BSODs.

Should've probably tested this way earlier but I only had one handy flash drive and I keep losing track of it. The bad module didn't even make it through one pass before it showed errors in all three slots that I tested (one slot is sandwiched under the CPU cooler so I didn't bother with it) and the other made it through 10 passes on the first slot and 1 pass each on the other two without issue. Doing more than one pass on the other slots seemed kinda redundant and it takes forever.

Anyway. Thanks for the help.
