Realplayer "bumped Off" My Volume Control

When I go to Accessories / Entertainment, instead of Volume Control, it said RealPlayer

I unistalles RP, and now its (empty)

How doI get my volume control back?

Hi Frank,

Try this. Insert your Windows XP cd. Then start a command session. Then Enter <your cd drive>: , Then enter - cd i386. and then type expand -r sndvol32.ex_ %systemroot%\system32.

Hope It works,

Or you could just manually recreate the menu shortcut to sndvol32.exe in the System32 folder.
It shouldn't of actually removed the file itself. :thumbsup:
