I just movedall my hardware from one case to another, but now when i try to play music. I get this error "Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration"....I get that from winamp and a simlar one from wmp when i try to play a CD in either dvd or cd drive.

Do you know what sound card you have installed in your system? Is this a new motherboard in the new system? If so is the sound card built into the motherboard?

What is new and what was transferred to the new system from the old system?

nvm, i just pulled out the card and stuck it back in and all is good now.
