Mod Edit:  Split from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/552057/recent-windows-update-kb2952664/ - Hamluis.

I am having a real problem with this update. It makes my computer lock up or Blue Screen. It would also make my BigFish Games lock up.

So I shut off my "Check for Updates" and then uninstalled it and it would come back every time I would reboot.

I finally was able to uninstall it and hide it.

But now my computer continues to Blue Screen occasionally and/or locks up when I am shutting down or restarting.

Anyone else having this problem? I have ordered another SSD and will reinstall Win 7 and do all the updates, including this one, before installing any programs and see if that fixes it. But what a pain, to then have to reinstall every program.

What do you think is going on with this?
