How to Fix Windows 10 Incorrectly Labeling HDD as SSD for Defraging?

Hello All,

 

As the title suggests, I was wondering if any of you fine folks had an Idea how I can correct Windows 10's incorrect assignment of SSD status to my WD HDD?

 

It wouldn't really bother me except that I can not optimize or defrag the disk due to the incorrect label. See attached pic.

 

I have 3 HDDs in my rig. 2 are set up in RAID 0 to form the C:\ drive, the System Reserved Drive and the \\?\Volumec0e569... seen in the pic. The Other HDD is the WD1001FALS that is not part of a RAID array.

 

I am running Intel Software RAID on an Asus P6T_D.

So no one else is running a RAID 0 array for their primary drive and experiencing issues with Defrag/Optimization? :smash:
