I'm using win 7 ultimate sp1.

I've noted many drivers and services have stopped.  Is this a serious problem?

Please note Microsoft will be downloading win 10 within the next few weeks.  Will this negate or solve this problem?

Should I be doing anything now until win 10 arrives?

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.
 
Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
  List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
 
Click Go and paste the content into your next post.
 
Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic323892.html/page__p__1797792#entry1797792 , taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

The Windows 10 upgrade must be installed over a functioning Windows operating system.

 

What is the make and model of this computer?

 

You should also back up all of your important data before upgrading to Windows 10.

I tried to download minitoolbox, it shows "MiniToolBox.exe  Failed - Insufficient....

This is second time today I tried downloading and this same thing happened.

Any clue what I should do?

I just tried downloading using Internet Explorer instead of Chrome..

My download yielded 0.  IE claims files are either moved or absent.

I would suggest uninstalling the Acelogix Software.  It is optimization software.
 

Bleeping Computer DOES NOT recommend the use of registry cleaners/optimizers for several reasons:

Many of them include such features as a registry cleaner, registry optimizer, disk optimizer, etc. Some of these programs even incorporate optimization and registry cleaning features alongside anti-malware capabilities. These registry cleaners and optimizers claim to speed up your computer by finding and removing orphaned and corrupt registry entries that are responsible for slowing down system performance. There is no statistical evidence to back such claims. Advertisements to do so are borderline scams intended to goad users into using an unnecessary and potential dangerous product.

You have the drive 5 error in bold.  This is your Seagate and does not contain the operating system.

Please run System File Checker
 
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces corrupted and incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
 
Click on the Start orb rsz_1rsz_1rsz_start_orb_zpshjewtibd.png and then type cmd in the Search programs and files box.
 
In the pane above the search box Programs will appear with cmd below it, right click on cmd and choose Run as administrator.
 
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, enter the password, or click Allow.
 
This will open the Elevated Command Prompt, it will look similar to the image below.

Type in sfc /scannow and then press Enter to start the scan.  Please notice the space between sfc and the /scannow.
 
If the scan finds no integrity  problems the scan will stop.  Type in exit, then press Enter to stop the scan.
 
When the scan is finished please do the following.
 
Click on the Start orb rsz_1rsz_1rsz_start_orb_zpshjewtibd.png then copy and paste the following in the Search programs and files box.
 
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"
 
This will place a new icon on the desktop titled sfcdetails.  Double click on this icon to  
the CBS log, copy and paste the log in your topic.
 
If this fails to place the icon on your desktop run the command from the Command Prompt.  Use the instructions I provided at the start of this tutorial.
 
This log may be very large, if you have problems posting it try breaking it into smaller parts.  When you copy these parts you will highlight the section you are going to copy.  If you leave that section highlighted it will give you a quick reference for where you left off.

The MiniToolBox and Speccy snapshot provided us with a lot of useful information, but no single program will provide all of the information needed to understand what is in need of repairing.

I don't see your question, sorry.

Scannow popup said that there were no problems, there was no text file or log title sfc details.  Tried 4 times.

My question is ... do I need to have all those drivers and services started or am I fine for now.????

 

PC is running good.  I really need to know if the drivers and services question will affect a Win 10 upgrade???

 

Acelogix is set to clean my tracks on Chrome.

My operating system appears to be operating just fine.

 

I'm unclear about your answer concerning drivers and services.  You've seen the list that are stopped, do I need any of them turned on?  Which ones?

I received Windows 10 Pro from Microsoft this morning.

Should I upgrade?
