Hi my name's Jay and I am a diy kind of computer person. I am on the computer most of the day and I tinker with different programs having to do with music software mainly. But sometimes I will try something out and it screws up my computer. For some reason, the system restore always turns itself off, deletes my earliest cleanest restores, and I end up not being able to restore after running some program that starts wrecking the smooth operation of my computer. This then leads me to spending days at a time trying to fix the issues.

I need to meet some expert friends here who can help me get the computer running nicely again. I also need some advice on how to keep my computer running great all the time.

At the moment, I've run some scans with some of the best anti malware programs out there, but so far nothing has found a huge issue even though there is something not working right since I installed a program. I think there is some kind of malware hiding.

I made some log files and am hoping someone here has the expertise to figure out then advise me on what to do.

I look forward to conversing with you all and reading your advice and tips.

Sincerely,

Jay

:welcome: to Bleeping Computer.

As a new member be sure to read the Welcome to Bleeping Computer! Guide and the following...If you need individual assistance with malware infection, you should start a new topic in the Am I infected? What do I do? forum

OR follow the instructions in the Malware Removal and Log Section Preparation Guide. When you have done that, start a new topic and post your logs in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum, NOT here, for assistance by the Malware Response Team.
