I read recently that Google and Firefox stopped using Flash Player because of security issues.  Has this been resolved?

I can't find any updates on this.

That was for old versions. Updating to the latest Chrome which has flash built-in and using the lastest plugin version of flash 18.0.0.209 for firefox resolves the issue.

But, security issues for flash are always found and then patched.
