Computer Access Problems

When my computer restarts or is turned on, I get a screen with the following messages":

Checking file system on C:
The type of the file system is NTFS
Cannot open volume for direct access.
Windows finished checking the disk.

And that's how the screen end, then proceeds to the Welcome screen.

Also, I have been unable to load into Safe Mode. I've waited for at least 10 min for Safe Mode to load. In my slower desktop computer, it take no more than a minute.

Please help me with my computer problems. Thanks!
